In true game style, I want to try a simple “idle” cycle for Max in a standard fighting pose. Having tried it breaking the character into elements (forearm, lower arm, head, torso etc) and tweened in Adobe Animate. The resulting animation looked very cut out and was absolutely not the look I was going for.
For my second attempt, I broke the elements into bigger groups and traditionally animated within the arms and legs. The result was much more satisfactory.
